Memorial Day - California Trip

Great family time!

We spent a lot of time hanging out with my family last weekend. I miss California a lot so I treasure every moment we are there. We ate every meal outside on my parent's patio, went to the beach for a little while, and spent some quality time with my cousin's - also known as Reece's cous-uncles and cous-aunts. I can't wait for our family vacation with everyone in a few weeks!

This pictures is quitessential of my dad's house. He's been saving all of his wine corks for sometimee now and has a lot- this is just some of them. Apparently, I told him to save them for a project - like a cork wreath, or cork trivet... anywho...Reece got a hold of the box that they were in and dumped it over. They did provide hours (minutes) of entertainment. Throwing, floating in the fountain, stacking, etc. Thanks Dad for your wine club memberships and for providing our son with such age appropriate toys. ;)

Moving on to the rocks by the fountain... another "toy." He often could be seen carrying a pet rock. It had to stop when he started banging a window with one. Similar to throwing a rock at a window...not a good idea.

The best day of our weekend was Sunday. We spent the entire day hanging out at our house. We had In - and -Out, and splashing pool time thanks to my brother's girlfriend, Amy and a fantastic bbq rib dinner.
