Reece = Dory

We have been swimming a lot this summer and after a week in Puerto Vallarta, Reece had down the basics of hold your breath, don't drink the water, kicking, and going from mom to the side and back. But Monty and I didn't feel like he was really swimming. Last week we started swim lessons 4 times a week with an amazing instructor. They are short lessons- only about 10 minutes but he has come a LONG way in just 7 sessions. He says that he swims like a fish, dolphin, or what. Watching nemo this morning, dory sang "just keep swimming, just keep swimming." and naturally he did too... anyway...this is him doing his survival swimming. She teaches him to rest on his back(NOT his favorite thing to do.) He much prefers to jump from the side and swim across the pool. We are proud of our little fish!!!!
